ASTM F2267 Subsidence test
We offer you a test method for the determination of the subsidance behavior of non-biological cages under quasi-static axial pressure according to the test standard ASTM F2267.
The implant is placed between two blocks of special bone substitute materials (PU foam with defined densities) and clamped into the test device. A load (0.1 mm/s) is then applied. In addition, the test is repeated with the blocks being made of steel. Thus, two force-dispacement curves are recorded, whereby the stiffness of the implant and the overall system can be determined.
