DIN EN 455-4 Shelf life determination*

Medical gloves are left in their standard packaging and stored at a certain temperature. After the estimated shelf life the gloves are tested for leaking and their tear resistance. Also the integrity of the packaging and the ability to fulfil the purpose of the glove is checked. The final shelf life is the last point in time at which all required tests are still passed.
