DIN EN 455-1 Impermeability of medical gloves*

DIN EN 455-1 describes a leak test for medical gloves. To prove the impermeability the glove is filled with 1000ml of water at 15 to 35°C through a vertical tube. Immediately the glove is visually checked for leaks and a second check is done after 3 minutes. A sample is failing the test if water is leaking from the glove.
